Laurentides (Quebec)

Lac Mercier is a scenic lake in the Laurentians (Laurentides), an area with forests, mountains and lakes north of Montréal. We had a wonderful time there walking along the water.

A few weeks later we made another excursion to the Laurentides. Somehow it can be a bit difficult to find paths to walk as a lot of the area is private property. But bike paths are usually a good choice.
Fall was about to start so the first trees had started to change colours. It's really a very beautiful place to be!
